Job summary

Mears Group in Leeds is seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Operative to support void repairs and refurbishment across social housing properties. You will perform end-to-end trades across carpentry, plumbing, tiling, decorating, and more, ensuring lettable standards and timely handovers.

The role requires a driving licence and the ability to work independently. You will help maintain safety standards and use handheld devices to record work details, with stable workload and comprehensive company

Qualifications

• Proven experience in domestic repairs across multiple trades.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and maintenance within void social housing properties to lettable standard.
• Carry out day-to-day repairs across void properties.
• Replace and repair skirting boards, architraves, and internal doors.
• Install and adjust kitchen units and worktops.
• Record job details, materials used, and completion notes using handheld devices.
• Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicle.
• Meet void turnaround targets and service level agreements.
