Derby City Council is seeking a Void Operative/Driver to prepare properties for Derby Homes to a high standard. The role is hands-on, varied and supports local communities by ensuring homes are safe and ready for residents.

You will work as part of a supportive team, use your initiative and develop skills within the council. A full UK Driving Licence and a good education are required, with a flexible, team-spirited approach.

Competenze

• Experience carrying out clearance and cleaning duties.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures, including PPE.
• Full UK Driving Licence and a good standard of education.

Mansioni

• General cleaning of void properties including white goods and carpets.
• Clearance work in void houses and gardens and removing bulky items.
• New build works including labouring duties and cleaning welfare facilities.
• Cleaning and clearance for Derby Homes departments, including kitchens and bathrooms.
• Working in a licensed Waste Transfer Station for Derby Homes.
• Carrying out work for Derby Derby Environmental health services.
• Removing bulky waste items.
