Job summary

Town and Country Housing is seeking a reliable Clearance Driver Labourer to support property clearances and preparation for new residents. You will work both independently and with a team to ensure homes are safe, clean, and ready for occupation, while delivering excellent customer service.

You will operate a clearance vehicle, assist with cleaning, redecoration support, and two-person tasks, and follow safeguarding and road risk procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate a clearance vehicle and carry out duties across properties, including clearances, cleaning, and redecoration support.
• Load and unload materials and remove items from void properties.
• Transport waste to designated disposal sites and record work completed using electronic devices.
• Purchase materials when required and follow safeguarding, health and safety, and road risk procedures.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Clearance Driver Labourer, you'll operate a clearance vehicle and carry out a range of duties across our properties, including property clearances, cleaning, redecoration support, and assisting with two-person tasks. You'll be responsible for loading and unloading materials, removing items from void properties, transporting waste to designated disposal sites, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. You'll also use electronic devices to accurately record work completed, purchase materials when required, and provide excellent service to colleagues and stakeholders while following safeguarding, health and safety, and road risk procedures at all times.
