Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist Voice Lead for the Voice Service in Gloucestershire. The role focuses on leadership, development of specialist voice clinics, and delivery of advanced assessment and intervention for adults with voice and swallowing disorders.

The post requires a highly specialist clinician who can lead service development, supervise SLT staff, and collaborate with ENT and MDT colleagues to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
Post graduate experience relevant to Speech and Language Therapy.
HCPC registration.

Responsibilities

To independently manage a highly specialist and complex caseload across adult patients with voice and swallowing disorders.
To manage and prioritise own clinical workload and delegate according to competency levels of other therapists.
Collaborate with the MDT to provide targeted management and rehabilitation for patients.
To supervise SLT assistants and newly qualified and experienced SLTs.
