Job summary

Gamma Telecom is seeking a Team Leader for Product & Voice Operations to lead a 6-engineer group, ensuring stable voice network delivery. You will own day-to-day ops, guide improvements, and drive cross-functional planning with Platform and Engineering teams.

You’ll coach the team, manage workload, handle incidents, and implement changes with governance. Hybrid work is offered, with London/Manchester/Glasgow offices as hubs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a technical operations team in a Telco environment.
• Proven track record delivering operational projects in a voice network.
• Experience with day-to-day network ops and change delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Operations Engineers with regular 1:1s.
• Manage workload for maintenance, changes and tasks on schedule.
• Act as escalation point for complex voice network issues.
• Oversee incident management and alert response.
• Coordinate maintenance and platform upgrades with governance.
• Own monitoring and health checks for network performance.
• Drive automation with Engineering to reduce manual effort.
• Maintain up-to-date runbooks and knowledge articles.
