Job summary

Dewis Centre for Independent Living is seeking a part-time PA to support with domestic tasks at home and accompany the client into the community. The role includes personal care as required and regular Monday to Sunday availability, with hours typically 09:00–13:00 and some flexibility for annual leave coverage.

Pay is £15.25 per hour with double pay on bank holidays. A car driver with access to a vehicle is essential. DBS disclosure and reference checks will be completed before commencement.

Job description

To support me with domestic tasks around the home as well as accompanying me and encouraging me to get out in the community. Some personal care will be required.

HOURS OF WORK

There are 3 hours per week available.

I require support most days I am advertising for Sunday 3 hours.

Ideally the hours will be worked between 09:00am - 13:00 each day, but this can be discussed further at interview. I would also like to recruit a PA who can cover any annual leave or sickness absence.

RATES OF PAY

£15.25 plus double pay on bank holidays

This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.

Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.

Wages will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
