A Little About Me
I am a lady in my early 60s living in the St Athan area with my husband and son. I have two small, very friendly French Bulldog-sized dogs and a cat.
I have limited mobility due to bone-on-bone problems and a crumbling back. I use a range of walking aids, including a wheelchair.
I enjoy crocheting, which I taught myself during lockdown and have continued ever since. I also enjoy reading. I am a quiet, pleasant and easy-going person and I am looking for someone who is kind, patient and reliable.
Purpose of the Role
I am looking for a kind, caring and dependable female Personal Assistant to support me with my morning personal care routine, helping me to get ready and start my day comfortably and confidently.
The successful applicant will support me while promoting my independence, dignity and wellbeing at all times.

About the job
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.
The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).
