Job summary

Holy Trinity Catholic Academy invites applications for a part-time Peripatetic Music Teacher. The role, starting January 2027 on a casual basis, involves delivering music lessons across our Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, with opportunities to develop Vocal and Piano provision for both primary and secondary learners.

You should have proven experience in primary and secondary schools, a solid understanding of KS2/KS3 music curricula, and a passion for working with young people.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching across both primary and secondary settings.
• Solid understanding of KS2 and KS3 music curricula.
• Enthusiastic with a positive attitude and passion for young people.
• Commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Innovative and resourceful teaching approaches.
• Ability to teach Music up to Grade 8.

Responsibilities

• Deliver music lessons across primary and secondary settings.
• Grow Vocal and Piano lessons within the academy trust.
• Create engaging, inclusive lessons using innovative approaches.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed in all activities.
• Support peripatetic music provision across multiple schools.
