Job summary

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust is seeking a part-time Music teacher to support both primary and secondary students across Nottinghamshire. You will deliver high-quality music lessons as part of a team of peripatetic music teachers within our Catholic trust.

The role requires experience in both primary and secondary settings, knowledge of KS2/KS3 music, and the ability to teach up to Grade 8.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in both primary and secondary settings.
• Knowledge of KS2 and KS3 music curriculum.
• Ability to teach music up to Grade 8.
• Commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging music lessons to primary and secondary students.
• Provide peripatetic music lessons across multiple schools within the trust.

Job description

This is a part-time role starting from January 2027 on a casual basis, pending completed pre-employment checks. You will support schools across the Our Lady of Our Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, working closely with both primary and secondary students. • Have previous experience working as a teacher within both a Primary & Secondary School setting.
• Have a good understanding of the KS2 & 3 music curriculum. Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
• Have a passion for working with young people.
• Provide a safe and healthy environment following safeguarding procedures.
• Innovative and resourceful teaching methods.
• Be able to teach Music up to and including Grade 8
  A salary of £24.03 - £33.25 per hour on Peripatetic Music Scale (P1 - P6)
