Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a part-time Music Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across the primary age range. You will develop pupils' musical skills and confidence, and lead assemblies, concerts, and school productions.

Experience in schools, QTS or equivalent music qualifications, and ability to play one or more instruments are required. The role emphasizes inclusive participation and collaboration with staff to enrich the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or relevant Music qualifications.
• Has experience teaching music in a school setting.
• Can play one or more instruments confidently.
• Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

• Can inspire pupils of all abilities to participate and succeed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging music lessons across the primary age range.
• Develop pupils' musical skills, confidence and creativity.
• Lead singing assemblies, performances and school productions.
• Encourage participation from all pupils regardless of ability.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Prepare pupils for concerts, showcases and special events.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to enrich the wider curriculum.
