Job summary

Primark Chester is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to support a fixed-term contract with 37.5 hours per week and varied shifts starting as early as 6am. You will craft inspiring store visuals, manage windows and mannequin styling, and drive commercial displays that reflect the local customer.

You will collaborate with the Visual Merchandising Manager and store team, maintain POS materials, and provide feedback on product lines while ensuring excellent customer service and proactive engagement with

Qualifications

• Some previous retail experience, ideally with visual merchandising.
• An eye for detail, awareness of fashion trends and latest styles.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to work independently.
• Strong service focus with experience delivering excellent customer service.
• Good problem-solving skills with interest in developing commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Work with Visual Merchandising Manager and Store Manager to reflect the customer through product presentation and styling.
• Review and adapt displays to be commercially successful and locally relevant.
• Provide feedback on product lines and refresh suggestions.
• Maintain POS materials and keep them updated across the store.
• Develop strong relationships and collaborate with store management.

Contracted hours: 37.5 per week
Working pattern: Varied shifts including mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends – all will be discussed at interview.5 days over 7 with early start time of 6am.

What you’ll do

• Working with the Visual Merchandising Manager/Store Manager to reflect the Primark customer through excellent product presentation, windows and mannequin styling.
• Review and adapt displays making sure they are commercially successful and relevant to the local customer.
• Provide feedback regarding successful product lines and suggestions for refresh and alternative products.
• Maintain all picture and poster POS in line with company guidelines and keep up to date throughout the store.
• Develop strong relationships and collaborate with the store management team.
