Job summary

Primark Chester Broughton is seeking a committed Visual Merchandiser on a fixed-term contract. You will work 37.5 hours per week across varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, to present products in line with Primark standards and customer expectations.

You will partner with the Visual Merchandising Manager and Store Manager to reflect fashion trends, refresh displays, and maintain POS while building strong relationships with the store team.

Qualifications

• Some previous retail experience and ideally visual merchandising exposure.
• Eye for detail, creative flair, and awareness of fashion trends.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently and prioritise.
• Strong customer service focus with a proactive approach.
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Work with Visual Merchandising Manager and Store Manager to reflect the customer through product presentation, windows and mannequin styling.
• Review and adapt displays, ensuring commercial success and local relevance.
• Provide feedback on successful product lines and refresh/product suggestions.
• Maintain all POS materials in line with guidelines and update as needed.
• Develop strong relationships and collaborate with the store management team.

Contracted hours: 37.5 per week

Working pattern: Varied shifts including mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends - all will be discussed at interview. 5 days over 7 with early start time of 6am.

• Working with the Visual Merchandising Manager/Store Manager to reflect the Primark customer through excellent product presentation, windows and mannequin styling.
• Review and adapt displays making sure they are commercially successful and relevant to the local customer.
• Provide feedback regarding successful product lines and suggestions for refresh and alternative products.
• Maintain all picture and poster POS in line with company guidelines and keep up to date throughout the store.
• Develop strong relationships and collaborate with the store management team.
