Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a meticulous Visual Inspector I to join the Swindon production team on a 12-month contract. The role involves manual visual checks of filled vials in controlled booths, ensuring quality before products move to production. Rotating shifts and onsite work are required.

The ideal candidate will have GCSEs in Math and English, pass a visual acuity test, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and concentration in routine tasks. Prior GMP exposure is a plus.

• Must pass a required visual acuity check (vision correction is fine).

Responsibilities

• Perform manual visual inspections of filled vials in controlled inspection booths.
• Identify and remove defective units (e.g., visible particulate matter, cosmetic defects, cracks, chips, or fill volume issues).
• Maintain clear separation between accepted and rejected items.
• Record inspection results accurately following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Comply strictly with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Participate in routine vision checks and qualification assessments.

Visual Inspector I

Location: Swindon

Position Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Contract Duration: 12-month contract

Workplace: Onsite

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (Rotating shifts: 07:00 - 15:00 or 15:00 - 23:00)

Pay Rate: £13.86/hr + 22% shift allowance

About the Role

We are looking for detail-oriented Visual Inspectors to join our production team in Swindon. In this role, you will perform manual visual inspections of filled vials under controlled conditions to ensure top-quality standards before products move to the next stage of production.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual visual inspections of filled vials in controlled inspection booths.
• Identify and remove defective units (e.g., visible particulate matter, cosmetic defects, cracks, chips, or fill volume issues).
• Maintain clear separation between accepted and rejected items.

Requirements
