Jodrell Bank Centre for Engagement is seeking to appoint a Visitor Services Supervisor.
Jodrell Bank Centre for Engagement is one of The University of Manchester’s cultural institutions. The organisation is responsible for engagement with the science, heritage & culture of Jodrell Bank and the wider University of Manchester, engaging visitors through a year-round visitor experience via exhibitions, grounds, events and festivals. Established in 2011, it typically welcomes around 160,000 visitors annually. In 2019, Jodrell Bank was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in recognition of its significant heritage, science, and cultural impact.
This role within our Visitor Services team will help deliver visitor service excellence and support Jodrell Bank Centre for Engagement’s commercial operations and retail activities, especially following the launch of the First Light Pavilion.
The post, based in the Centre’s busy Planet Pavilion, is 4 days a week, Wednesday – Saturday, involving routine weekend duty management to support our 7-day operation, as well as office and retail administration.
We seek individuals passionate about providing high-standard customer service and care, who enjoy playing an active role in this, and who are also excellent administrators with prior supervisory experience.
