Job summary

Forestry England is seeking a Visitor Services Officer at Wendover Woods, Aston Clinton. You will help deliver an exceptional visitor experience across the visitor welcome/centre, ensuring a smooth, inclusive and enjoyable visit for all.

This permanent role offers 37 hours per week with excellent benefits including Civil Service pension contributions, 25 days holiday (pro rata for part-time), free parking, free entry to National Arboretums, and commitment to lifelong learning and career

Responsibilities

  • As a Visitor Services Officer, you will contribute to achieving an exceptional visitor experience, providing outstanding service so that visitors leave with lasting memories. Working across our visitor welcome/visitor centre, you will also work with the wider team to maintain our visitor facilities, making sure our visitors have a smooth, inclusive and enjoyable experience. You will help cultivate a supportive and positive work environment that encourages teamwork, productivity and individual growth. You will take opportunities to promote Forestry England’s work including events, membership, legacy giving and volunteering.

Alongside your salary, Forestry England contributes an average of 28.97% towards your pension. You will become a member of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension Scheme.
