Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Security Officer to join our onsite team with our client in South Ockendon. You will be responsible for greeting visitors, protecting staff and assets, and delivering a high standard of professional security services in reception areas and meeting suites.

The role requires strong communication, basic IT skills, and a meticulous approach to daily building operations, parking control, and coordinating with Building Management to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar security role is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Attention to detail and ability to respond to issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet visitors using proper protocols.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the building.
• Maintain high level of service in reception and meeting suites, contact hosts.
• Stay updated on policies, systems and general information to assist staff and visitors.
• Answer telephone professionally and route calls or take messages.
• Coordinate with Building Management team.
• Oversee car parking and ensure proper parking bays are used.
