Staunton Farm, part of Hampshire County Council's Countryside Service, seeks a Visitor Events and Engagement Officer to plan and deliver family-friendly events and community activities. This role focuses on creating enjoyable visitor experiences in a lively outdoor setting.

The successful candidate will manage a varied programme, engage with families and children, and contribute to visitor satisfaction, with weekend and holiday work as part of a full-year operation.

Staunton Farm is a popular family attraction within Hampshire County Council's Countryside Service, offering visitors a wide range of engaging activities, seasonal events, and memorable experiences throughout the year.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Visitor Events and Engagement Officer. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, particularly families and children, and who is passionate about creating enjoyable and meaningful visitor experiences.

What you'll do:

As Visitor Events and Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering a varied programme of family-friendly events, seasonal activities, and community engagement opportunities. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure activities are safe, enjoyable, and well organised while helping to maximise visitor satisfaction and participation.

The role requires flexibility and includes regular weekend, bank holiday, and school holiday working as part of a full-year operation. You will be expected to contribute positively to the day‑to‑day visitor experience while supporting the continued growth and success of the attraction.

You’ll be required to work a rota pattern to respond to the demands of the service. Your working pattern will include some weekends and bank holidays for which enhancements will be paid in line with the Hampshire County Council salary policy.
