Job summary

Hampshire County Council's Countryside Service at Manor Farm, Botley, is seeking an Operations Officer to ensure a safe, welcoming and well-maintained visitor attraction. You will lead day-to-day operations, coordinating maintenance, health, safety and compliance to uphold high standards.

Play a Vital Role at One of Hampshire's Most Loved Heritage Attractions.

As part of Hampshire County Council's Countryside Service, Manor Farm is a popular family-focused visitor attraction set within a unique historic environment. We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Operations Officer to play a key role in ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

The Role:

Lead the safe and effective operational management of Manor Farm, ensuring a welcoming, well-maintained and compliant environment for visitors, volunteers and colleagues. Working closely with the Business Manager and Countryside Service teams, you will drive high operational standards and continuous improvement, while ensuring the site is presented to the highest possible standard through effective collaboration with colleagues, contractors and partner organisations.

What you’ll do:

This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll play a central part in the day-to-day management of Manor Farm. From coordinating maintenance and contractors to leading on health, safety and compliance, you'll help keep the site running smoothly and safely. As part of the Management Team, you'll support colleagues, enhance the visitor experience and contribute to the continued success of one of Hampshire's most valued heritage attractions.
