Job summary

Good Oaks Home Care is seeking a Care Professional in Aylesbury. We offer flexible contracts, paid mileage and funded diplomas with clear career progression. No experience is required as full training is provided from day one, and you’ll join a supportive team delivering high-quality visiting care in clients’ own homes.

Roles can be full-time or part-time, with hours including days, evenings and weekends to suit you. A driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation to clients
• Help with daily household tasks and activities
• Light housekeeping (cleaning, dusting, laundry, ironing)
• Assist with meal preparation and cooking
• Run errands (grocery shopping, prescriptions)
• Support with personal care tasks if required
• Monitor medication schedules and reminders
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings

What Will You Do?

• Provide companionship and genuine, meaningful conversation
• Help with daily household tasks and activities
• Carry out light housekeeping: cleaning, dusting, laundry and ironing
• Assist with meal preparation and cooking
• Run errands such as grocery shopping or collecting prescriptions
• Support with personal care tasks such as bathing and grooming (if required)
• Monitor medication schedules and remind clients when needed (if required)
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings (if required)
