Job summary

Good Oaks Home Care in Milton Keynes is seeking caring Care Professionals to join our visiting care team. You will provide companionship, assist with daily tasks, and support clients in their own homes with dignity and respect.

We offer flexible contracts (full-time/part-time), guaranteed hours, paid DBS and mileage, and funded training for career progression, with opportunities to move into Team Leader roles from within. A driver with a valid license is preferred and DBS checks are fully paid.

Qualifications

• 12 months+ experience in a care or social care setting.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Driver with a valid licence and access to a vehicle for work.
• Right to work in the UK and fully paid DBS check.
• Physically able to support clients with household and personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Help with daily tasks and light housekeeping.
• Assist with meal preparation and cooking; run errands.
• Support with personal care tasks if required (bathing, grooming).
• Monitor medication schedules where needed and accompany clients to appointments.

What Will You Do?

• Provide companionship and genuine, meaningful conversation
• Help with daily household tasks and activities
• Carry out light housekeeping: cleaning, dusting, laundry and ironing
• Assist with meal preparation and cookingRun errands such as grocery shopping or collecting prescriptions
• Support with personal care tasks such as bathing and grooming (if required)
• Monitor medication schedules and remind clients when needed (if required)
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings (if required)

Who Are You?

• A caring individual with a strong work ethic and genuine compassion
• 12 months+ experience in a care or social care setting
• An excellent communicator with great people skills
• Organised, reliable and able to manage your time effectively
• Professional, respectful and trustworthy in all situations
• Physically able to support clients with household and personal care tasks
• A driver with a valid licence and access to a vehicle for work
• Happy to undertake a right to work check and DBS check (fully paid by us)
