The Whitstable School is seeking an inspirational Headteacher to lead an ambitious 11–18 coastal academy in Whitstable. Swale Academies Trust seeks a leader who can elevate teaching, nurture talent, and strengthen community collaboration across the school and Trust network.

The successful candidate will drive pupil outcomes at Key Stages 4 and 5, shape a positive school culture, and act as an outward-facing ambassador for the school and its partners.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of driving dynamic pedagogy and accelerating pupil outcomes at KS4 and KS5.
• Ability to motivate staff teams, nurture leadership potential, and maintain exemplary behaviour/attendance.
• Grit, analytical precision and resilience to refine systems and sustain school self-evaluation.
• Act as an authentic ambassador for the school, engaging parents and local partners.
