Job summary

The Whitstable School, a member of Swale Academies Trust, seeks an inspirational Headteacher to lead an ambitious 11–18 coastal community.

You will drive teaching and learning, shape culture, and work with executive support to deliver high standards across the school and its Sixth Form, STEM, and Performing Arts pathways.

• Champions Community & Collaboration: Acts as an authentic, outward-facing ambassador for the school, engaging parents, local partners, and the wider Trust network.

• Lead The Whitstable School as Headteacher, driving strategic direction and curricular excellence
• Shape school culture, ensure high standards of behaviour and attendance, and support staff development
• Engage with parents, local partners and the Swale Academies Trust to deliver school improvement priorities
• Represent the school within the Trust and wider community, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
