Job summary

You will deliver needs-led assessments and tailored rehabilitation across the borough, focusing on daily living, mobility and low-vision support, within statutory frameworks to balance safety and independence.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in rehabilitation studies or visual impairment.
• Hands-on experience with people with visual and hearing impairments.
• Experience delivering mobility and orientation training and low-vision support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs-led assessments and deliver tailored rehabilitation programmes across the borough.
• Provide specialist advice on accessible communication methods and signpost to sensory services.
• Coordinate with families, health professionals, housing teams and voluntary sector partners to ensure comprehensive care.
