Job summary
South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Virtual Care Practitioner to lead enhanced clinical assessment and management of complex, high-risk patients in a rapidly evolving virtual care service.
You will provide clinical leadership, mentorship and contribute to service development, innovation and quality improvement across the Virtual Care pathway, with roles based at Crawley HQ or Medway Make Ready Centre.
Qualifications
- Registered clinician with NHS-level clinical assessment capability.
- Postgraduate qualification supporting clinical assessment and management.
- Specialist practice qualifications or FCP training evidenced.
Responsibilities
- Undertake enhanced virtual assessment and management of complex patients.
- Provide expert clinical advice, leadership and support to colleagues.
- Lead, coach and mentor clinicians and support professional development.
- Contribute to referral pathways, innovation and quality improvement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
