Job summary

Isabel Hospice in Welwyn Garden City is seeking a part-time Vinted Sales Assistant to grow our online charity shop. You will select saleable donated items, create engaging listings and price items to maximize online sales while ensuring accurate stock records.

This 20-hour-a-week role offers flexible hours within Monday–Friday, an office-based environment, and a supportive team focused on fundraising through fashion and second-hand shopping.

Qualifications

• Experience with online marketplaces or selling platforms.
• Organised, reliable and able to manage time effectively.

• Commercial awareness and ability to spot items with sale potential.
• Detail-oriented with accurate checking and recording.

Responsibilities

• Select donated clothing, accessories and other items with strong online sales potential.
• Check, prepare, measure, photograph and price items to a high standard.
• Create accurate, engaging product listings using effective titles, descriptions and images.
• Manage stock, including storage, price reductions, relisting and removal of older items.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries and offers.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor listing and sales performance against agreed targets.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers and the despatch team.
• Support development of new online selling platforms such as TikTok, and create short-form content where required.

Are you passionate about fashion, second-hand shopping and finding hidden gems? Do you have an eye for items that could sell well online and enjoy creating attractive product listings?

Isabel Hospice is looking for an organised, motivated and commercially minded Vinted Sales Assistant to help grow our online retail operation.

You will play an important role in turning donated clothing, accessories and other items into valuable income to support the vital work of Isabel Hospice. From selecting saleable stock and creating eye-catching listings to managing inventory and engaging with customers, you will help us make the most of every donation.

This office-based role is 20 hours per week working 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday. The agreed working hours may be flexible within this period but must remain consistent from week to week.

Key responsibilities

We are looking for someone who is:

• Confident using online marketplaces and digital platforms
• Interested in fashion, second-hand shopping, retail or online selling
• Commercially aware, with an eye for items that may attract buyers
• Accurate and detail-oriented, particularly when checking products, taking measurements and recording information
• Comfortable communicating with customers and working as part of a team
• Proactive, adaptable and keen to develop new skills
