Job summary

MDCV UK Limited is seeking an energetic apprentice to join the viticulture team. You will learn practical viticulture skills, assist in cultivation, management and harvesting of grapevines for premium English sparkling wine production.

The role emphasizes learning, adaptability and collaboration. You will gain hands-on experience across multiple vineyard sites, with opportunities for career progression within our growing winery group.

Qualifications

• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Good IT and mobile application skills.
• Full clean driver’s license and own transport.
• Willingness to travel.
• Able to work in a 5 over 7 shift pattern.
• Flexible, proactive and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Work with Vineyard team to oversee multiple young vineyards.
• Carry out crop walks to monitor diseases, pests and vineyard health.
• Assist with pruning, training and harvesting tasks.
• Record and report vineyard activities to the management team.
• Help design sustainable vineyard work programs with the team.
• Support broader business activities as required.
