Role Summary

We are looking for a talented Video Journalist/Editor to join our international editorial team based in the UK. This role is central to creating compelling, fact-based video content that brings a Middle Eastern perspective to global audiences across both digital and broadcast platforms. From filming high-impact interviews and events to scripting and editing powerful stories, you''ll be part of a team that values editorial integrity, creativity, and innovation in multimedia storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Film interviews, b-roll, and live events using professional equipment.
Script and edit video stories with clarity, accuracy, and editorial consistency.
Collaborate across editorial, production, and social media teams to enhance audience engagement.
Contribute additional multimedia elements (photography, captions, short text) as needed.
Operate effectively in high-pressure, field-based or breaking news scenarios.

Role Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media Studies, Communications, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in video journalism for a respected news outlet.
Strong shooting/editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent).
Experience with motion graphics, mobile journalism, or drone videography is a plus.
Strong understanding of digital storytelling and audience-first video formats.
Excellent written and spoken English (Arabic is a plus).
Familiarity with CMS, newsroom tools, and metadata best practices.
Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
