Job summary

Cambridge Regional College is seeking a creative Social Media & Content Specialist to lead a video-first content and social media strategy that supports student recruitment, employer engagement and stakeholder communications.

You will capture authentic stories from students, staff, alumni and partners across Cambridge and Huntingdon campuses, creating high-quality video, photography and written content for social channels and the college website.

Qualifications

• Essential: portfolio showing video-first content creation.
• Essential: experience editing short-form video for social media.
• Essential: ability to film/edit with mobile tools; CapCut/Adobe Premiere.
• Desirable: degree in Digital Content, Media, Marketing or Journalism.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Film, edit and publish video content using mobile devices and professional software.
• Plan and produce student stories, employer features and day-in-the-life videos.
• Capture high-quality photography for campaigns and websites; manage assets library.
• Ensure content complies with accessibility, copyright and GDPR requirements.
