Job summary

MOBOLISE is seeking a Digital Managing Editor to lead the digital content strategy for Smooth and Gold, ensuring video-led storytelling across YouTube, social media, Global Player and websites. You’ll oversee a talented team of digital creatives and collaborate closely with on‑air teams to create audience-first content.

You will shape editorial direction, maintain high standards and leverage insights to grow audiences while representing the brands at key events and premieres.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, coaching and developing creative or digital teams.
• Developed video strategies and grown audiences, especially longform YouTube.
• Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube with planning and publishing skills.
• Experience delivering digital content strategies in fast-paced editorial environments.
• Ability to use analytics to understand audiences and drive growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team: Manage and develop the Smooth and Gold digital team, including social producers and video editors.
• Drive our video strategy with a focus on longform YouTube and shortform across social platforms.
• Shape the editorial direction across Global Player, websites and social channels.
• Create standout content weaving music, TV, film and pop culture for audiences.
• Collaborate with on‑air teams to identify content opportunities and maximise interviews.
• Maintain high editorial, creative and design standards across all platforms.
• Use insights and performance data to grow digital audiences.
• Collaborate with other brands and commercial teams on co‑branded content across video, editorial and social.
