ASOS is seeking a Midweight Video Editor to join their innovative Video Team in London. This role involves editing engaging e-commerce videos, ensuring high-quality production, and supporting team members in a dynamic, creative environment. Midweight Video Editors at ASOS are highly organised, efficient, future leadership figures, who have an eye for fashion, photography and seamless operations. As one of our Video Editors, you will be working closely with the Seniors, Leads and Management at ASOS Studios. You will support department efficiency, whilst thinking commercially and innovatively to deliver the best e-commerce assets in the industry for our 20-something customer. You have the ability to successfully be a part of and support a team with a creative, strategic and operational mindset.
Reporting directly into the Lead Video Editor, you will be responsible for contributing to the day-to-day running of the Video Team. This includes product page enrichment of 1000+ product videos per day, editing our product page e-commerce videos in line with KPI and quality expectations.
You will ensure adherence to budget, cost per product, creative quality, and volumetric KPIs.
Use of a bespoke Content Management System to upload videos and manage daily workflows.
Deliver video capture for projects, elevated shoots, and campaigns (studio and location) with support from your Senior team/Lead, while supporting junior team members to meet delivery demands.
Deliver video editing for projects, elevated shoots, and campaigns with support from your Senior team/Lead, while supporting junior team members.
Ensure all project and elevated video content is captured and edited to brief, in line with resource allocation, budget, and deadlines, ensuring quality expectations are met.
Deliver video assets with suitable grading to ensure balanced, appropriate delivery alongside images.
Support the Video Lead with daily KPI and team performance reporting when required.
Must be able to multitask, use organisational skills, and work in a pressurised environment, prioritising workload effectively.
Work detailed with Premier Pro and Mac, understanding technical difficulties related to editing, file management, colour grading, exporting, quality control, uploading, and camera functions.
Ensure all product page videos are edited to the highest standard to maximise customer information.
Regularly check quality across own and team edits, paying maximum attention to detail.
Be recognised as an aspirational figure within your team and the wider department.
Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and a positive, dynamic response to change.
Communicate effectively, be approachable, and understand escalation protocols.
Work closely with the Lead Video Editor and Senior Video team to support creative development.

Assist in deploying team resources to optimise workflow.

Develop your communication and leadership style in line with ASOS policies.
Build strong relationships with the wider studio team to support shoot-to-post processes.
Identify areas for review, research ideas, and assess competition to ensure market leadership.
Participate in new workflow and technology launches to streamline practices.
Support departmental projects and adhoc tasks as assigned.

Proven strong knowledge and experience with Premier Pro and Mac.
Experience in e-commerce video capturing and editing for website and social platforms, including formatting and compression.
Strong understanding of commercial video workflows, including file management, colour grading, exporting, quality control, and uploading.
Knowledge of video capture and editing hardware and software.
Knowledge of lighting for video in studio and location environments, and collaboration with photography.
Knowledge of video grading in Premiere Pro and Da Vinci Resolve is beneficial.
Understanding of incorporating audio files into Premiere Pro is preferable.
