The company joined the Lloyd’s Register Group in 2022 and is now one of the leading maritime software with over 500 employees. The tool which provides real-time navigation, performance and compliance insight, is currently used on over 22,000 ships.

In January 2025 Lloyd Register will complete an acquisition of Ocean Technologies Group from Oakley Capital. Ocean Technologies Group is a leader in the maritime industry, providing essential human capital management, training compliance, operational, and HR software to over 1,000 shipowners and operators and over a million seafarers worldwide. This acquisition will enable Lloyds Register to offer OTG advanced solutions across a combined fleet of over 30,000 vessels.

Navigating the position: Creative Manager

The Creative Manager delivers and oversees all creative output, ensuring everything is consistent and on-brand. Adept in creative design, planning and brand execution, works seamlessly with partners and colleagues to define, create, and deliver our brand identity across channels, driving awareness and engagement.

This role is a 12 month FTC

Your Voyage Ahead:
  • Act as a brand champion and a point of contact for stakeholder enquiries
  • Collaborate with Performance Marketing and Comms to understand their brand objectives and requirements
  • Develop creative concepts and design strategies that align with brand guidelines
  • Create visually appealing brand identities and assets, including logos, typography, colour palettes, and brand assets
  • Present design concepts and ideas for campaigns and marketing materials incorporating feedback and revisions as necessary
  • Design and deliver marketing collateral, promotional materials, presentations, and digital assets including videos
  • Stay updated on industry trends, design tools, and techniques to enhance creatively and efficiency
  • Use marketing technologies to deploy digital assets across campaigns and channels at scale

Recommended to bring on board:
  • 5 years’ experience in graphic and brand design
  • Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
  • Proficient in executing digital assets across channels (including content management and marketing automation platforms)
  • Excellent understanding in design principles, typography, colour theory and composition
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality designs and materials
  • Great presentation skills
  • The ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a matrix organisation, adaptable and flexible
