Job summary

Middlesbrough Football Club is seeking a Video Editor to join the Media and Content team. The role is based at the club’s training ground near Hurworth, close to Darlington, and involves creating and editing football content for multiple digital platforms under the guidance of the Video Content Manager.

You will handle post-production tasks such as colour grading, audio mixing and final mastering, and you’ll design motion graphics in After Effects while coordinating with the wider production

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud with focus on Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Strong portfolio of football or sports content across multiple platforms.
• Proven experience in colour grading, audio mixing and post-production to social/broadcast standards.
• Excellent storytelling and knowledge of football culture.

Responsibilities

Middlesbrough Football Club is looking for a Video Editor to join its Media and Content team, based at the club’s training ground near Hurworth, close to Darlington.

The Role

You will create and edit engaging football content across the club’s digital platforms, taking direction from the Video Content Manager while managing your own projects and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and edit engaging football content for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
• Deliver post-production work, including colour grading, audio mixing and final mastering
• Design motion graphics in Adobe After Effects
• Work closely with content producers and the wider production team
• Manage media assets, project files and archives
• Keep up with social media, video and content trends

About You

• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects
• A strong portfolio of football or sports content across multiple platforms
• Proven experience in colour grading, audio mixing and post-production to social and broadcast standards
• Strong storytelling skills and excellent knowledge of football and football culture
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Desirable: experience with professional cameras (particularly the Sony FX3), cloud-based archives, previous work in professional sport and a full UK driving licence
