Job description

Founded in 1882, Tottenham Hotspur is an iconic English football club, playing in the Premier League and Women’s Super League. From North London to the world, our fanbase spans continents, cultures, and generations.

Tottenham Hotspur is a club that’s always dared to push boundaries, breaking new ground, and rewriting history. We are at our brightest when we’re all together. Our club, our teams, our community.

We are entering a new era at Tottenham with a new club strategy, new leadership, and a focus on putting our supporters at the heart of everything we do as we continue to strengthen our connection with our home, each other, and the DNA of our club. A big part of achieving this is through our marketing department, a centre of excellence responsible for our Brand (what we say), our Creative (how we say it), and our Digital strategy (where we say it).

Role Purpose

We’re looking for an exceptional Camera Operator / Editor to join our Football Content team. You’ll sit close to our first teams, capturing and cutting the moments that matter. You’ll be creating video for our social and web/app platforms, but you’ll also have the opportunity to bring your work to matchday through support of Stadium production and creating match promotion assets.

We’re building a world leading football content team with creative excellance at its core. You’ll shoot and edit across our men’s and women’s first teams, working day-to-day alongside the Football Content Lead and the wider production team. You’ll be a trusted, familiar presence around the players and staff, someone the first-team environment is comfortable with, which means we can tell more honest, closer stories.

It’s a big canvas to work with: two elite first teams, a landmark Stadium with 62,850 supporters on matchday, outstanding production facilities, and a global fanbase that wants to feel closer to the Club than ever.

Key Responsibilities
First-team football
  • Shoot high-quality footage across training, matchdays, press conferences, player features and behind-the-scenes access, home and away, nationally and internationally.
  • Provide consistent, dedicated coverage of first-team training, so there is always a trusted camera close to the squad.
  • Edit fast, social-first content to tight turnarounds, from same-day vertical clips to longer-form YouTube films, in the Tottenham Hotspur look, feel and voice.
  • Build trusted relationships with players, coaching staff and football operations, respecting the access we are given and the confidentiality of an elite environment.
  • Support the Football Content Lead on bigger productions, from planning and shooting to edit, and step in to lead shoots independently when needed.
Matchday and Stadium
  • Create match promotion assets for every game, home and away, for our social and web/app platforms and the Stadium big screens.
  • Support our Stadium production team on matchdays, working closely with the Senior Stadium Producer.
  • Cut content for every screen, from vertical social and horizontal YouTube to the Stadium big screens.
  • Capture the atmosphere and our supporters on matchday and bring them into our football storytelling.
Craft, kit and workflow
  • Manage lighting, audio and camera equipment on shoots to the highest production standard.
  • Organise and tag footage in our asset library so the best moments are easy to find and reuse across teams.
  • Look after the kit room, making sure all equipment is accounted for, maintained and ready to go.
  • Stay ahead of new formats, platforms, tools and production techniques, including AI-assisted editing workflows, and bring fresh ideas back to the team.
What you will bring
  • A strong portfolio of shooting and editing work, ideally in elite sport, entertainment or another fast-moving, high-access environment.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects, and colour grading skills are a strong advantage.
  • Confidence operating professional cinema and broadcast cameras specifically Sony and Red series, lighting and audio, often on your own and against the clock.
  • A solid grasp of social-first content – even when filmed on traditional cameras – and how to cut the same moment for vertical, horizontal and big-screen formats.
  • Experience delivering to tight matchday or live deadlines without compromising on quality.
  • Photography and drone experience (CAA-licensed) are a plus.
Personal Attributes
  • You’re a storyteller with a camera first, with a strong eye for what makes a shot, a cut or a moment genuinely good. You’re the kind of person who would be filming, experimenting and sharpening your craft even if it wasn’t your job.
  • You’re trusted in the room. You understand the rhythms and sensitivities of elite football, know when to step in and when to step back, and treat the access we are given with care and discretion.
  • You’re collaborative by instinct. We work as one team across the Club, and you’ll be just as at home on a shoot with colleagues from Stadium production, Brand or Creative as with the rest of Football Content. You’re calm under pressure, flexible when plans change, and take pride in getting the detail right.
  • You’ll have a genuine appreciation of the game and the ability to create content that resonates with supporters of both our men’s and women’s teams. You don’t need to have spent your career at a football club; we’re interested in people who have made brilliant work wherever they’ve made it.
Our Responsibility to you

Safeguarding is fundamental to the success in all that we do. Successful candidates are to be reminded they would be subject to various background, DBS, and reference checks for this role.

We welcome applications from anyone regardless of age, disability, gender, race, or ethnic and national origins, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.
