The Manchester College is seeking a Vice Principal - Adult Learning to provide strategic leadership for one of its largest areas. You will oversee an extensive adult curriculum, substantial budgets and multi-disciplinary teams, driving learning, progression and outcomes across Greater Manchester.

You will shape the Adult Skills Strategy, collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders, and promote growth, quality and financial sustainability across the provision.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd or equivalent).
• Significant leadership experience in FE or adult education.
• Proven experience leading large, high‑performing teams.
• Strong understanding of adult skills funding, quality frameworks and performance management.
• Experience managing substantial budgets and ensuring financial sustainability.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership for adult learning across the college.
• Lead a large curriculum, budgets and multidisciplinary teams to deliver outcomes.
• Drive learner recruitment, progression and student experience improvements.
• Partner with employers, authorities and stakeholders to meet local and national skills needs.
