Star Academies in Preston seeks a Vice Principal - Quality of Education to provide instructional leadership and support to the Principal. You will help shape the curriculum, teaching and learning policies, and ensure a strong focus on student achievement through data and benchmarks.
You will develop transition from primary to secondary, keep parents informed about progress, and undertake duties on behalf of the Principal when needed.

Strategic Direction and Development
Support and assist the Principal by providing dynamic instructional leadership and management by sharing and modelling the school’s vision and values in everyday work and practice.
Work with the Principal and other Star leaders to ensure the very best education for the students, through achieving the organisation’s aims and objectives. In particular, to develop and manage curriculum, teaching and learning policies.
Ensure a consistent and continuous focus on students’ achievement, with systems for recording individual student’s progress, and effective use of data and benchmarks to monitor progress in every student’s learning.
Develop and maintain high-quality transition from primary schools, with curriculum continuity and maximised student progress.
Make sure parents and students are well informed about the curriculum, attainment and progress.
Undertake any professional duties delegated by the Principal and carry out the professional duties of the Principal in the event of their absence.
You will have:
A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
Experience of senior leadership and management within a school setting.
Experience of successful and sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.
