Job Description

The Role: As a key member of the executive team, the VP of Sales - EMEA will lead all sales go-to-market activities across the region.

Your Focus:

  1. Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share across Europe, the Middle East & Africa.
  2. Pipeline & Forecasting: Drive revenue through pipeline generation and strategic account planning using Salesforce; oversee sales plans, compensation, and territory strategies.
  3. Strategic Leadership & Enablement: Communicate corporate strategy, remove organizational barriers, and empower the sales team.
  4. Sales Automation: Ensure consistent and accurate use of sales automation tools.
  5. Executive Leadership: Contribute to overall corporate strategy as a member of the senior leadership team.
  6. Sales Culture & Motivation: Inspire and cultivate a culture of enthusiasm, accountability, and high performance.
  7. Training & Performance: Enhance sales capabilities through mentoring and structured training, leveraging tools like Cadence Calls.
  8. Talent Development: Attract, develop, and retain top sales talent aligned with growth objectives.

Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Proven success as a Vice President of Sales in a global, multi-division technology company with multi-million-dollar revenue lines.
  • Experience leading sales organizations for companies with revenues exceeding $500 million, preferably in Business Intelligence or enterprise software.
  • Knowledge of BI products, Data Preparation, ETL, Databases, Analytics, and Data Warehousing; Big Data understanding is a plus.
  • Understanding of ROI and TCO principles.
  • Experience with sales methodologies like MEDDPICC, Challenger, Sandler.
  • Ability to develop scalable sales strategies for rapid growth and market expansion.
  • Industry thought leadership with executive presence and credibility.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with Fortune 1000 accounts.
  • Motivator with enthusiasm and drive for excellence.
  • Ability to form alliances with OEMs, partners, and end-users; deep understanding of end-user needs.
  • Cultural fit with Strategy’s values.
  • Strategic and tactical leadership capabilities.
  • Resilient, change-driven, with experience scaling internationally.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
