Job summary

Citi Global Markets in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior 1LOD Markets Controls Testing professional. You will plan, execute and report control testing across Markets Trading and Sales, collaborating with Front Office, Markets Conduct Risk, Compliance and Operational Risk.

You will coach junior staff, monitor progress to milestones, challenge control design, and drive remediation opportunities while delivering clear risk insights to senior management.

Qualifications

• Experience in front office controls testing, internal or external audit, or similar.
• Understanding of Markets business activities and regulatory environment.
• Knowledge of trading and sales risk controls.
• Experience coaching and developing team members.
• Ability to challenge senior stakeholders on risk matters.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report results of control testing.
• Supervise and coach junior team members.
• Monitor testing programme against timelines.
• Maintain high standards and best practices for testing activities.
• Provide challenge to stakeholders on design and effectiveness of controls.
• Support remediation identified through the testing programme.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships across Front Office, Markets Conduct Risk, Compliance and Operational Risk.
• Present impactful summaries from the testing programme to stakeholders.
• Provide Markets controls subject matter expertise across all three lines of defence.
