Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a skilled Markets Controls Testing professional to plan, execute, and report on control testing for trading and sales activities on a global scale.

You will guide a team, ensure timely delivery, and uphold rigorous control standards across Front Office functions. The role requires deep knowledge of Market controls, strong stakeholder communication, and the ability to challenge designs to improve risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience in Front Office controls testing, internal audit or external audit.
• Understanding of Markets business activities and applicable regulations.
• Knowledge of Market risks and controls related to trading and sales.
• Experience coaching and developing team members.

Responsibilities

• Execute and report results of control testing for Markets Trading and Sales.
• Supervise and coach junior team members in testing execution.
• Monitor testing programme progress and escalate obstacles to delivery.
• Maintain high standards and best practices in testing execution.
• Provide challenge to stakeholders on design and effectiveness of controls.
• Support remediation activities identified through testing.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across Front Office, Markets Conduct Risk, Compliance and Operational Risk.
• Present impactful summaries of testing outputs to stakeholders.
• Provide Markets controls SME guidance to stakeholders across all three lines of defence.
