Job summary

Oakland Care Ltd in Eastbourne is seeking a lively Lifestyles Assistant to plan and deliver a vibrant activity programme for residents. You will work with the Lifestyles Manager to run engaging group and one-to-one sessions based on residents' hobbies and interests.

The role requires experience supporting vulnerable individuals, a love for music, creativity, and strong organisational and IT skills. You will help organise events, outings, craft sessions, and bring warmth and compassion to daily

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals.
• Background in designing or delivering activity programmes.
• Love for music and high creativity.
• Ability to lead group and 1-to-1 sessions.
• Excellent organisational, planning, and IT skills.
• Basic photography abilities.
• Capable of managing time effectively.
• Willingness to learn and work towards an S/NVQ.

Responsibilities

• Support residents to live life to the fullest.
• Encourage residents to take part in meaningful activities.
• Assist residents with their lifestyle choices, interests and needs.
• Plan, arrange, and facilitate a diverse range of activities.
• Accompany residents on weekly trips and outings.
• Lead group and one-to-one activities.
• Help create new activity ideas and activity packs.
• Set up for events, talks, and social gatherings.
