Job summary

Oakland Care seeks a dedicated Bank Lifestyles/Activities Assistant for Berkshire Manor in Bracknell. This zero hours, day-shift role delivers a vibrant activity programme for residents in a luxury setting.

You will plan, lead and tailor activities, supporting group sessions and one-to-one interactions with warmth and creativity. You should have experience in person-centred care, strong communication, and the confidence to run engaging activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals in care settings.
• Ability to design or deliver activity programmes.
• Love for music, creativity, and running group and 1-1 sessions.
• Excellent organisational skills and basic IT abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support residents to live life to the fullest.
• Encourage participation in meaningful activities.
• Assist residents with their personal lifestyle choices.
• Plan, arrange and facilitate a diverse range of activities.
• Accompany residents on weekly trips and outings.
• Lead group and one-to-one activities.
• Help create new activity ideas and activity packs.
• Set up for events, talks, and social gatherings.
