Job summary

Bupa's Ashley Park Care Home in Guildford is seeking a Lifestyle & Wellness Coordinator to lead daily activities and special events for residents. The role focuses on creating a vibrant, person-centered atmosphere and tailoring activity plans to fit the home’s budget.

You will run morning and afternoon sessions, coordinate external performers, and support reminiscence tools, reading, and social activities. Permanent part-time, 12 hours/week, paid at £13.30/hour.

Qualifications

• Creative thinker with ideas to engage residents.
• Able to manage budgets and maintain paperwork.
• Interest in caring for others with a positive, engaging approach.

Responsibilities

• Running morning and afternoon activity sessions.
• Producing and updating an activity planner within the budget.
• Organising birthdays and coordinating external performers/events.
• One-to-one resident activities and social/therapeutic engagement.
• Support home social media channels as required.
