Job summary

Humdinger is hiring a Machine Minder (Double Day Shift) at our Heckington site. The role involves operating VFFS bagging lines and multi-head weighers, maintaining quality, and troubleshooting basic mechanical issues. You will contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to GMP/GHP standards.

The position offers rotating shifts Monday–Friday, with paid breaks and opportunities for overtime, along with training and a clear progression pathway within the company.

Qualifications

• Direct experience operating VFFS bagging machines and multi-head weighing/dispensing machinery in an FMCG factory setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
• Understanding of GMP and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Good knowledge of check weighers & X-Ray machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain VFFS bagging machines and multi-head weighing/dispensing machinery to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Ensure products meet quality standards every time.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and work with Engineering for repairs when needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise performance.
• Follow strict hygiene and safety practices (GHP/GMP).
• Accurately record downtime, losses, and operational issues.
