Adecco is recruiting for a Vetting Analyst/Researcher to support Wiltshire Police Force in Devizes. This temporary, 6-month contract offers a 37-hour week with flexible remote working options.

The role involves vetting staff and third-party personnel, risk assessment, and evidence-based recommendations to maintain high standards of integrity. Ideal candidates will have recent vetting experience, strong analytical and research capabilities, and excellent attention to detail.

Adecco are pleased to be recruiting for Vetting Analyst/Researchers to work within the Wiltshire Police Force

Our client, a prominent organisation in the public services sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Vetting Analyst/Researcher to join their team on a temporary basis for a fixed-term contract of 6 months. This exciting opportunity is based in Devizes, with a flexible option for remote working.

Contract Details

• Contract Type: Temporary
• Contract Length: 6 months
• Hourly Rate: £17.41 per hour
• Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday to Friday 37 hours per week

Please not this role is subject to POLICE VETTING, you must resided within the UK for a minimum of 5 years continually

About the Role

In this essential position within the Vetting Unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring that robust vetting processes are applied to all staff, officers, and third-party personnel. Your efforts will help maintain the highest standards of trust and professionalism within the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include

• Gathering, researching, and analysing information from a variety of sources to support vetting decisions.
• Conducting conviction and non-conviction checks using local and national systems.
• Assessing risk and providing evidence-based recommendations on security clearances.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records on vetting systems.
• Conducting and supporting vetting interviews when necessary.
• Acting as a key point of contact for vetting enquiries across the organisation.
• Supporting ongoing aftercare, renewal, and review processes.Your contributions will be vital in ensuring compliance with national vetting standards and internal policies, directly enhancing the integrity of the organisation and fostering public confidence.
