Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Whitstable/Faversham practice. You will work with a supportive team to provide high-quality patient and client care across a varied caseload.

You will develop clinical skills, share expertise with colleagues and contribute to a positive clinical culture. The balanced rota offers a 3 or 4-day week with 10-hour days and a 1:4 Saturday rota at our Faversham site; full-time or part-time roles considered.

Qualifications

  • Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility) with the RCVS.
  • Experience with routine medical and surgical cases.
  • Strong communication and client-relations skills.
  • Proactive approach to learning and development.
  • Professionalism and ability to work independently and with a team.

Job description

Our Faversham practice is a purpose-built, spacious site with large consult rooms, separate dog and cat waiting areas, ample parking, and is located next to a large pet store. Its easily located from the A2 with easy links to Canterbury, London and Coastal destinations.

Our smaller Whitstable practice is located only a few minutes' walk from a beautiful beach and many novelty shops and restaurants. The local town also hosting the famous annual Oyster Festival, which is on in September 2026.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care while leading and supporting those around you.

Working Pattern

  • Our balanced rota offers a 3 or 4-day work week of 10-hour days with a 1:4 Saturday rota at our Faversham site from 08.00 to 14:00. A full time or part time position can be considered.
  • There are no out of hours or bank holidays.

  • A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
