Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Summerwood Vets. You will work with a friendly, close-knit team and deliver high-quality patient and client care across a varied caseload, while developing clinical skills and sharing knowledge with colleagues.

The role offers flexible full or part-time hours, with no weekends or out-of-hours shifts. We value collaboration, professional growth, and compassionate care for animals and owners.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and full registration with the RCVS (or eligibility).
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.

• Modern, spacious practice with four consult rooms
• Separate cat/dog areas, new cattery, theatre
• Advanced equipment (laparoscopy, ultrasound, digital & dental x-ray, in-house lab)

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you'll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You'll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice.

The role offers flexible full or part-time hours, with no weekends or out-of-hours shifts. Typically our full time working week includes:

• Working hours 8:30am-6:30pm over four days, but we're happy to discuss five shorter days
• Part time options covering 1-3 days a week
• Fixed days, or a rota to fit around your requirements

Salary up to £75,000 FTE DOE
