Abivale Vets in Wallingford is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team on a full-time basis. The role is sole charge, with a 40-hour average week and some weekend shifts (2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday every 7 weeks). Part-time applicants considered.

Veterinary Surgeon at Abivale Vets, Wallingford

Up to £65,000

Please note that this role will be sole charge, so we’re looking for someone experienced enough to work under those conditions. Whist you’ll be based mainly at the Wallingford site, we could accommodate one day per week at our main site. When on shift at Wallingford, you’ll be supported by a receptionist and a highly experienced nurse.

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

Flexibility with hours

The full-time rota includes working an average of 40 hours per week, with some weekend shifts - working 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday every 7 weeks. Bank holidays are on a rota basis. There’s no out of hours or on call required in this role. We can also consider part time applicants, too!
