Job Description

Competitive salary of up to £60,000. Part time. Flexible working

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time veterinary surgeon to join us at Telford Vets for Pets.

Our fun and supportive team includes 3 experienced vets, 2 with surgical certificates, and a 2023 graduate. We have four RVNs, an experienced front of house team, and a practice manager. We enjoy a close-knit environment with team activities like takeaway lunches and celebrating birthdays.

Our surgery is well-equipped with an in-house lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound, electrocautery, tonopen, cryopen, and offers therapies such as acupuncture. It’s a busy practice with a variety of cases, with a mix of consults and surgeries, though a consult-only role can be considered.

Located on Wrekin Retail Park, close to shopping outlets, and near Shropshire countryside and towns like Shrewsbury and Birmingham.

We’re looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon working around 30 hours per week, with flexibility. The role includes 1:4 Saturdays (9am–5pm) and no OOH. Flexible weekday hours and working patterns are welcome.
