Job description

Competitive salary of up to £60,000. Part time. Flexible working

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time veterinary surgeon to join us at Telford Vets for Pets.

Our fun and supportive team includes 3 experienced vets, 2 with surgical certificates, and a 2023 graduate. We also have four RVNs, an experienced front-of-house team, and a practice manager. We enjoy a close-knit team environment with activities like takeaway lunches and celebrating birthdays with cakes.

Our surgery is equipped with an in-house lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound, mono/bipolar electrocautery, tonopen, cryopen, and offers complementary therapies such as acupuncture. It’s a busy practice with a variety of cases, involving consults and surgeries, though a consulting-only role can be considered. Located on Wrekin Retail Park, we are near shopping outlets, the Shropshire countryside, and towns like Shrewsbury and Birmingham.

We are seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon to work around 30 hours per week, with flexible weekday hours and 1:4 Saturdays (9am - 5pm). No OOH is required. We are open to discussing different working patterns.
