Job summary

Shinfield Vets in Reading is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, supportive team. You will see a mix of consultations and surgery and be backed by 3 experienced vets and a team of nurses.

The role offers a varied schedule with potential for part- or full-time hours, and a relocation allowance to assist with moving. A competitive salary up to £70,000 DOE is available depending on experience.

Qualifications

• BVMS or equivalent veterinary degree and registration with the RCVS (or eligibility)
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
• Proactive learner open to feedback and development
• Professional, reliable and capable of working independently and as part of a team

Here at Shinfield Vets, we are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. You will see a varied day with a nice mix of consultations and surgery and be supported by 3 experienced Vets as well as a wonderful team of 5 nurses and supporting team members.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

We are happy to consider and discuss all hour requirements from part time to full time.
