Victoria Veterinary Practice is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our established team, with a varied caseload and opportunity to develop medical, surgical and orthopaedic interests. You’ll work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality care for our patients and support clients across a busy practice.

• Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.

Victoria Veterinary Practice is a community-minded, multi-branch veterinary practice. Both our sites (Dowlais & Aberdare) are situated in the South Wales valleys with easy access to Cardiff. Our Dowlais is site is near the beautiful Brecon Beacons.

State of the art facilities

Our state-of-the-art facilities boasts advanced equipment. At our Dowlais site, we have a dedicated lab for all in house testing, dental suite, 2 theatres, separate dog and cat kennels, large prep area, isolation ward, ultrasound machine with cardiac probe, digital radiography. At Aberdare, we have Digital xrays, dental suite, separate dog/cat kennels and an ultrasound machine.

Our team comprises of our CD (working towards a Small Animal Postgraduate certificate and carries out Orthopaedics) 3 experienced Vets, 6 RVNS, 1 SVN, 1 ANA and 6 supporting team members. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
